Structure Your Membership

In Module 2, we’ll shape your membership idea into a digital product that helps your customers achieve their transformational goal.

Lesson 1: Product types

There is a wide range of digital products you can include in your membership. Your membership may include just one of these products, or it may include several! Let’s review the most common options, and which would be the best fit for your membership.

Lesson 2: Core deliverable + extras

In designing your membership, we’ll focus on identifying the core deliverable vs. the extras. This distinction will help your members achieve or experience the transformation your membership is designed to provide. And, it will help inform which product you’ll focus on first, and which can wait until later, adding continued value to your membership.

Lesson 3: Pricing your membership

The pricing of your membership product determines how much revenue you’ll ultimately earn from it. It’s also an important piece of communicating the value your product contains, and who it’s for (hint: your ideal customer!). 

We’ll price your membership now, to keep the price in mind as we create your content. You can always change this later, but it’s best to establish a ballpark figure upfront. This helps to keep your content aligned with your price — in other words, if you’re creating a $49 introductory product, you’ll know you don’t need to create $499 worth of content to launch it!

Lesson 4: Branding your membership

Branding your membership product is a small but important detail. Whether your membership takes on the same branding as your existing business, or has a unique branding of its own, we’ll work through creating a brand identity that helps your ideal customer connect with your membership and know it’s for them.
