Caveday is a digital membership community helping workers boost their focus and productivity.
In today’s digital age, the way we work and connect has transformed dramatically. Remote work, once considered a niche concept, has now become a widespread reality.
Caveday, a digital membership community focused on helping remote workers maintain their focus and productivity, has developed an innovative way to support this shift.
Let’s take a look at where they started and how they’ve grown into a successful membership business!
Meet the co-founder
Jeremy Redleaf is one of the co-founders of Caveday. Before launching his membership business, Jeremy was busy running live events!
Now, he runs a successful community with the goal of helping workers focus via guided sessions, workshops, and accountability groups.
We don’t have any developers on our founding team, so we had to figure out how to connect third-party tools to create a valuable member experience. MemberSpace is where we started!

Membership Business Q & A
What is the pain point you solve for your customers?
We help workers focus at home with guided sessions, workshops, and accountability groups.
What were you doing before your membership business?
Running live events.
What challenges did you have in the early stages of your business? How did you solve those challenges?
We don’t have any developers on our founding team, so we had to figure out how to connect third-party tools to create a valuable member experience. MemberSpace is where we started!
Were there any keys to success, or big "a-ha!" moments that really elevated the growth of your business?
We had to adapt our product to a changing world and also try to speak to pain points that were causing people to cancel. We ultimately made our offering more flexible for all kinds of people in all parts of the world.
Did you have a social media following or large email list before you started your membership?
No.
✨ Membership Tip
Caveday started without a social media following or large email list! You don’t need an established following to grow a thriving membership business.
How do you market your membership and find new members?
Word of mouth, press, and eventually ads.
Which platform(s) do you advertise on?
✨ Membership Tip
To spread the word about their membership and attract new members, Caveday uses word-of-mouth referrals, press, and paid ads on Facebook and Instagram.
Have you done anything to focus on retention and reduce canceled members?
So many things! We’re constantly trying to move the needle here. One of our biggest pain points is that you can’t arrive to our sessions late. We just launched a drop-in lounge to give our members somewhere to go between live sessions.
✨ Membership Tip
Listen for any issues your customers might be facing and come up with solutions to keep them happy and receiving value from your membership!
What are some of your favorite online tools for running your business?
Brevo, Zapier, Notion, Usetiful.
Do you have a team helping with your membership business?
Yes, I have a team. We have three founders, a chief of staff, and 40 part-time instructors.
What's your source of inspiration?
Seth Godin, Oliver Burkeman, James Clear, Cal Newport, Gloria Mark
If you could give your younger self any advice, what would it be?
“It’s okay to disappoint customers.”
